Earthquake Day #7

Well, well, well; it's been a week...that went fast!

Grandad's house was the next stop in cleaning up from the earthquake. As I mentioned in a few blips back that my father being away was ironic. Well here's part two of the irony. My sis, brother in law and I cleaned. Not Grandad's daughter or son. His grandchildren. He lives in a retirement home by the way. But on other terms; holy crap! Old people horde! That place hasn't been cleaned since the dark ages...and the house is bulging out the sides with nick-nacky crap and dust and rubbish..

Well it's been almost exactly a week since uni, the CBD, chch schools etc have been closed. Almost a week since Christchurch stopped looking familiarly. And almost a week since the 148 people found have lost their lives. It's sad to think that that number will rise some more.
