Picking up from the time before digital

I bought a set of Winsor & Newton watercolours and I've been playing. Nothing that I want to share with anyone yet. The re-learning curve is rather daunting after abandoning traditional art materials 17 years ago for the joys of digital art.

I've been acquainting myself with the names of colours and deciding which ones are worth space on my palette.

I'd welcome any words of wisdom from watercolourists.

I can't wait to visit Tate Britain for Watercolour.
