Monday: Canary Wharf

Went over to Canary Wharf to meet my friend, Charles, for coffee.  Charles and I used to work together but he has taken a period of unpaid leave to work on the London Olympic Games.  He is very happy doing that, which is great to see.

Canary Wharf is very cool - completely different from my normal stomping ground around Whitehall.

Note to self: must cosy up to Charles in shameless manner when tickets for the Games go on sale.
