I really like this idea of 1 photo and 1 piece of text to sum up your day. I have been considering deleting Facebook for a while now because I write my life story on it and sometimes I share too much. I think that transferring over to this photo blog will make me just look at the positives of each day and capture it with 1 image and leave out all the other negative stuff!

I have had a difficult 5 or 6 years and I'm finally starting to see the bright light at the end of the tunnel. From being homeless at 16, falling off a cliff and breaking my hip and pelvis, to going on a 16 week Rehab programme at the age of 17, I thought there was no hope.

However, currently I am student at Heriot-Watt university in Edinburgh (originally from the Highlands) studying a Maths, Statistics and Actuarial Science Degree. I have been given an opportunity in life that I need to take with both hands and It's just making sure the past remains the past that is the blocking point to me having a wonderful future!

My main interests are football, poker, gambling (need to stop this) and I enjoy just getting to know new people and just chatting to people in general. I figure that's why I post so much to Facebook, I've constantly got to be speaking to someone or doing something.

Let's hope this blog is a success for me!
