I've been photographing these around town for a while, they are absolutely everywhere.  I don't generally blip political stuff but the trade measure in question was rejected today so it seemed topical and also works as part of my utility pole posting series.  Mr. Blumenauer is known for his earth-friendly record but as a supporter of this trade measure Friends of the Earth have been calling him out on it here in Portland as well as in DC.  

Much cooler temperatures today, 73ºF, which was very nice indeed.  Happy Friday!
