I am an old man, who lives a purposeless life, which I enjoy immensely. I am very lucky in my wife who indulges me endlessly. My only complaints is that she won't let me read poetry to her-or only short ones. I have a good group of friends who find me tiresome and loveable in roughly equal measure. I have 4 grandchildren who regard me as "funny". They call me Bee-pa.
I love to go cycling, am slow, but strong. I try to help my wife in the garden. I am not a gardener, unlike my wife who is very talented. The best things about me are my family, friends and the the poems I love. Also bikes.
My favourite novel is Middlemarch.
The rest of my life is pleasing dull. I am skint which is boring.
