My interests include horse riding (my wife's passion - I support her horse-habit (she calls me her under-wire)), photography, painting in oil and watercolor, drawing, anything nature-centered and motorcycle riding.
The terrain in our area has rolling-hill grassland, primarily for beef cattle and horses with large tracts owned by Native American (Indian) tribes or held in trust as Nature Preserves. Woods and small forests of (mostly) Oak interrupt the expansive grass once populated with enormous herds of American Bison (Buffalo). The woods were not indigenous but were introduced by early settlers. Streams and several nearby lakes
(some man-made for flood prevention/electric production) are frequent. (Old-Timers claim they have raised the rel. humidity).
8 miles away is an active town of 30,000 residents. 40 miles to our south is the city of Tulsa, Ok.
