My mother once said I was the toughest birth in the family (of 7 kids!) becuase I was born with a rucksack on my back! Not exactly but I do love to travel, get lost when I have no time pressures, experience new cultures, faces, smiles, laughs and try new languages not to mention enjoy new foods! Its great to find out waht makes people and nature tick.

I am a community development worker by trade and have worked in overseas development programmes for almost 15 years - so I am blessed with wonderful parents who encoursged me and jobs that allow me to feed my habit. I am married to Marcela, an amazing Mayan princess from Guatemala who inpsires me to see the world with many different lenses.

I dip in and out of photography so hopefully Blipfoto will inspire me to get back on a consistent track!
