My name is Bonnie, I am 17 years old and photography is my passion. I have been interested in capturing the worlds beauty since I was young. I started off with shooting sunsets on my little digital camera, then I tried including other objects within the sunset lighting - e.g. pine branches, flowers, flax; so it silhouetted in front of the sunsets. I then started working closely with Lydia Nimmo who is a wedding photographer and I tagged along with her and occasionally took photos for her. I then was entered in a year 12 photography class when I was year 10 - this meant I passed a class which was meant for people two years older than myself. For my birthday that year, I got a Canon Powershot G12 which was just what I needed to start me off in photography , being a digital crossed with a SLR - I couldn't go wrong. I completed year12 photography once again and got excellence on my board, and am in year13 photography using my new Canon 1100D.
