Two years now, where did the time go! It's great to look back over previous Blips. So many memories! Heading into year 3 and thinking about how much life has changed since I started, and it's all recorded here on Blip!
March 2014:
I've been taking photos for years. Started out in the 1980s with a number of 35mm SLRs and several Tamron lenses. However life and finances saw this hobby tail away for several years.
I started Blipfoto in March 2013 using my aging Olympus C8080, and was pleased with the results from this camera. However it was beginning to show its age and I replaced it in Sept 2013 as my main camera with a Nikon D5100. I chose this model of Nikon after several months investigation, and the decision fell on image quality (particularly in low light) and budget. I have not been disappointed!
I can honestly say that the discipline of seeking out one photo per day has vastly improved my photography. Which in turn has had an unexpected advantage in Aug 2013 that my photos helped me get into art college!
So you could say that Blipfoto has changed my life!!
Thanks for reading this!
