Taking inspiration from a FaceBook friend, I'm planning to document a small part of each day of my life over the next year via the medium of the digital still image.

I'm expecting many of my weekday pics to be taken using the very basic camera on my BlackBerry. For me the words accompanying each photo will be more important than the technical or aesthetic attributes of the picture itself. I'll make a bit more of an effort at weekends and when I'm on holiday to use my dSLR (a Pentax K10D).

I'll be travelling a fair bit over the next 12 months (work and holiday), so hopefully there will be some great opportunities for interesting / unusual photos.

Advanced warning - s lot of my holiday and weekend photos will probably involve cars (Caterham's in particular). I own one of these cars and cover about 5,000 miles per year touring the UK and beyond.
