My name is Linda and I'm recently retired from a career in the medical profession. I've loved photography from a very young age but always have lots to learn. Before the digital age I took photographs with a Pentax film camera and would spend hours in my dark room (cupboard under the stairs), sadly though I developed an allergy to the chemicals needed to process the pictures and for a while I gave up photography apart fron 'snapping and shooting'. A few years ago my lovely husband bought me my first SLR camera - a Sony A200 and I was hooked again. I've progressed to Canon since then and use a 40D and a 7D. I also use, for quickness and convenience, the camera on my iPhone 4. I've recently been introduced to Blip and look forward to seeing other people's work and sharing my own. Hopefully I'll pick up some ideas along the way!
