My name as you already know is Claire Brownlie. My life over the past 3 years has been well publicised by various newspapers and magazines so this is my chance to give people an insight into my life and the real me. I was a nurse and I made the fatal mistake of falling for one of my own patients. Due to this I lost everything. My job, my registration, my house, my family and to some extent my dignity. Things have been hard for me because of this but I am not looking for sympathy and yes I did break the rules and according to some deserved all that came to me thereafter. I made a mistake in the way I dealt with things but in my mind falling in love was not a mistake. I am now happily married to Paul and we have a very close and warm relationship. This relationship however is limited due to the fact that Paul still remains in psychiatric care and I can only visit him at the moment and cannot be with him. One day my dream will come true and we can truly be together like husband and wife. Then I can show Paul this journal and he can understand my journey..... Paul my angel this is for u.
