Hello folks - I live with my son, his girlfriend, our dog and cats in a market town surrounded by farmland and countryside. I'm interested in nature and science and love walking my Springer Spaniel Lucy in Clumber Park, which is a lovely National Trust park nearby. I don't know much about photography but my good friend Jackie has encouraged me to join - and since I received a brilliant new mobile-phone for my 50th birthday I am giving it a go.

Update October 2014: my beautiful Lucy died in July.
I am still utterly bereft and not publishing much at the moment, but I do like to view other peoples entries and I hope that in the future I will start Blipping regularly again - maybe when I find another four- legged soul mate to cherish.

Update November 2014: I've taken the plunge and adopted a lovely little rescued cross- breed Collie called Daisy.
