January 2020 update: It's been a tough few months and I haven't posted since last September. My Mum was going through a hard time with her cancer but is thankfully now in remission. I was made redundant from IKEA on 31st December due to my desire to no longer travel for work, but it is a blessing in disguise as I have now retired from work and my husband will also retire in a couple of months.
I have learnt such a lot in my years with Blip and even though I have not had time for it in the past few months I have really missed it, hence my return. Now that I have broken the run, I will now only post when I get the time, which will hopefully be most days but I will no longer worry about missing a day. I'm still with my starter camera - my trusty Canon EOS 100D but I think I will be in the market for a new body sometime quite soon.
September 2015: After lurking around on this site for a few months, I finally decided that it would be a good idea to start posting and keeping my own record. I can't promise to post every day as I am still working which takes up a huge proportion of my week. But I do travel a lot with work so will try and look out for some cool stuff to post.
My photography skills are very limited but I can see myself wanting to learn a whole lot more when I have the time or when I retire(which will not be for many years).
I have grown up loving nature and animals so a lot of my blips will probably feature birds from my garden or flowers from my travels.
You may also get some board-game related blips and some obliging colleagues when I am travelling, but let's see what happens....
