I live in Dieulefit, a wonderful village of the "Righteous among Nations", potters and lavender in Drôme Provençale in the south of France, but I was born in Tunisia, I grew up in Provence, studied in Burgundy and lived in England and for a long time in Scotland where my husband comes from. I’m lucky to have a great job that takes me around the world (covid-19 permitting!). Our daughters are now away, and I take advantage of my free time to travel, enjoy the countryside, garden and get back to photography.

I started this blog at the start of the coronavirus lockdown to keep track and make senses of this difficult period. After 18 months of daily posting I took a step down in September 2021 as it was getting too much for me. I am now posting only occasionally.
