I had been living the city of GIjon, Asturias, on the north coast of Spain, since 2001, as well as being a regular visitor for years before that.

In 2021 however we decided to make a move westwards to Galicia, north-west Spain, to a smallish town in the province of La Coruña. We moved in at the end of July.

The town is on the Camino Inglés, the English pilgrims path from Ferrol, the traditional port of arrival from the British isles, to Santiago de Compostela.
