I joined the Royal Air Force in 1962 as a Photographer - and I became a lens-junky.

I came to Canada in 1968 and have always lived in the, 'country,' you know, woods, lakes... I have been very luicky indeed.

The downside was that I could not have a darkroom because I had a well-system for my water and thus... not enough water to wash films and prints.

When digital arrived I went nuts and wore my first (mediocre) Kodak out after taking many thousands of pics.

Now I have a Nikon D-90 and a few bells and whistles and I love it! It goes everywhere with me. It is a superb Camera!

BTW, to any Newbies, get a Polarizing Filter and experiment. I discovered these in the RAF, they are amazing for many outdoor shots.

I keep everything, even bad stuff and every so often I'll copy these from my portable HD to good quality DVD's. Does anyone know the best type for archiving?
