I had a very busy work life in education but managed to squeeze in a few art courses. I've often said that if I were to do another degree, I'd love to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Now I'm content to take photos. I see interesting things to photograph all around me and try to see them from different angles and perspectives. I can spend hours using a photo of something recognizable and turning into an abstract that looks nothing like the original. I love geometry, vivid colours, black and white, detail and blur, the combination of natural vegetation with man-made structures. So this journal will be more about exploring beauty in the ordinary or creating abstracts. I'm backblipping quite a few photos that I haven't posted in my other blip.
