For three days every summer, the grounds of the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh undergo a transformation in an explosion of scent and colour, this is Gardening Scotland - the national gardening and outdoor living Show.

The Show brings together top nurseries and growers from across the UK with the cream of garden design talent to provide gardeners with inspiration, information and top quality plants.

Every year more than 400 exhibitors take part selling everything from seeds to sunrooms while a line-up of celebrity gardeners and environmentalists provide expert advice on all aspects of growing great food and flowers at the same time as living in harmony with nature.

There is also a Cookery Theatre featuring top Scottish Chefs, Food Fayre, huge Craft Marquee, inspirational Show and Pallet Gardens, Musical Entertainment and Family Fun in the Big Back Garden.

Gardening Scotland 2014 will take place from Friday 30th May until Sunday 1st June.
