Hija, I'm Gloria who is presently a redundant nurse (2011) who lives in a beautiful spot on the borders of Yorkshire & Manchester in a place called Saddleworth (yes....to those who can remember the Moors murders - it's the same Moors!). I moved over here in 2004 as I was fed up with living in the very grey town of Stockport as at heart I've always been a country bumpkin - loving the outdoors with walking all over our beautiful countryside, camping and jogging!

I'm not a person who really likes to talk a lot about my life plus I'm extremely lazy- this was most evident when I set up a blog to relay all my adventures of a recent stay in Zambia, Africa and I didn't actually do one entry although a guy that I travelled with kindly did one on my behalf (bless him) but it did actually reflect everything that I wanted to say ;-)

So, that all being said, I'm hoping that taking a photo regularly with a short caption will be an easier feat - hmmmmmm we'll see
