I live on the South coast but have a longing to live in the country away from the hustle and bustle. I lived for seven years in the Scottish Borders but felt isolated from my family hence the return to the south. Unfortunately country living in the south is unaffordable for us so the coastal town location is the next best thing. I have recently purchased Beryl, a shiny little new car, to get Reggie my Border Terrier and myself to some country walks.

Update September 2019
That one day arrived! 25th July we bought our own little bit of the countryside. As previously said it was unaffordable in the south so we’ve moved to County Durham. It is unfortunately away from family and friends but not isolated. We have become part of a very friendly community and we are loving it.
