My name is Ian Wright and I am a keen amateur photographer living in Shropshire.

My aim (like i suspect many others) is to have the discipline to take and post one photo a day (where signal etc makes this possible). The vast improvement in mobile phone technology makes this a feasible enterprise as uploading photos is now often easy to do even out in the field.

I am also keen to expand my personal repertoire by taking photos of things i normally ignore or choose to avoid. Being a daily journal this is a wonderful inevitability as certainly in the UK there are not that many wonderful sunny days with which to stun the World with my preferred love of landscape photography.


Apart from my Canon Eos 6d, PowerShot G1X mk2, Powershot G1xmkii
 and Samsung Galaxy, I also own a couple of entry level Canon DSLR's and a Canon Powershot G16 which goes just about everywhere with me.



Also do not be surprised to see a number of photos of lighthouses. I am a bit of a lighthouse bagger and have now travelled to over 250 in the UK and abroad.
