I love Blip, two years of daily Blipping was tremendous fun and I made lots of wonderful friends but lack of inspiration and keeping on top of commenting turned it into a chore and I became a bit of an occasional (very occasional!) Blipper! A recent Blip meet with two absolutely fantastic ladies reminded me that this is my Blip, for me and I'm determined to return to recording a daily journal. My photography skills have come a long way since I started, no more automatic setting for me, but I'm not sure that I'm quite the artist I would like to be so I'll be happy to settle for whatever the day brings, even if it is a phone shot.
This journal will be the mutterings of a slightly daft woman coming to terms with her amazing little girl moving out to start Uni and her equally amazing boy turning into a teenager, despite his assurances that this would never happen. Just as well I have my pups - Coco (Beagle, 6 years old) and Sammy (Lab, 6 months old), and a very understanding husband!
A wee title change from my original, Voyage of the Beagle, has been made to accommodate the Lab and the restrictive number of title letters. I don't claim to make any discoveries to match Darwin but life with dogs and children entails wonders on a daily basis.
I've roughly figured out that if I can keep my Blipping going until the end of the year that it'll take me to over a 1,000 entries, so that's my new target - 1,000 entries by the end of the year!!
