I have always enjoyed photography but I am far, far, far, from being an expert.  

I had been taking  pictures from a cheap Kodak camera.  I don't always have my camera on me.  That is when I use my phone.  It's not the best, but it's nice to have it always with you in case you want to take a picture.

On January 6th 2014, I got a new camera.  I wasn't enjoying taking pictures anymore with what I had.  This new camera should inspire me to post more on Blipfoto.

I was an only child with all my relatives living in Holland.  I was a single mom, with two wonderful sons.  My marriage didn't work out and I always thought I was meant to be on my own.  I accepted that and enjoyed what life had to offer me.  

Then, I met a man ten years ago and on June 21st 2013 got married to him.  

I have six grandchildren. Lilian was my first grandchild. She calls her grandpa, "Grampi" and calls me Jacqueline.  From the first time I saw her, my husband referred to her as my grandchild, too.

I had the pleasure in meeting Ash, Hunter, Logan, and Zahra about in 2009. It was a few years later, when they started calling us "Oma & Opa."

Elisabeth is the newest member of our family. She was named after my late mother.  Mom would be so proud.  

I have always lived in Canada, but Dutch blood run thick in my veins.  

That is all you need to know about me right now.  The more pictures I share with you, I suppose the more you will understand who I am.  

I am looking forward to share my life with you and seeing a little about your life is about.
