Having notched up 265 consecutive blips and become a full member, it looks as though I'm hooked, so thought it was high time I summed up some of the things my blips so far have revealed: relatively recently retired English teacher / consultant; lived in Somerset for 32 years; married to Tess for 35 with a son & daughter in their late 20s; love travelling, sport (Yeovil Town fan), music, reading.

 

Always enjoyed taking photos, so bought myself a Nikon D5000 when I retired and was lucky enough to read about blipfoto at about the same time. Love the fact that I can enjoy the experiences, thoughts and ,of course, photographic talents of fellow blippers and, hopefully, learn from them and gain inspiration for  my own shots. And it gets me out of the house (most days)! Blipfoto: better than daytime TV!
