I began this journal to chronicle my six-month stay in Hawaii (Oahu). Hawaii is the land of Aloha, where generosity, friendliness and a warm welcome, compassion and thoughtfulness are alive ... the Aloha spirit.
"Alo" means sharing, in the present. "ha" means breath, life energy. So, Aloha is about sharing the breath, life energy, in the present.

'Olu'olu, being agreeable, pleasantness
