I am not a photographer - there I've said it. So don't be expecting composed masterpieces with great lighting here.

Until last year I would have described myself by my profession, I am a chartered marketer and ran my own business working in local government as an interim head of communication and marketing.

Then I had a major stroke and that put paid to all that. Back on my feet and brain is getting better but how to fill my time?

I now have a dog, am a school governor and volunteer for Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. I also work as a team leader in Laura Ashley. Life feels good again, just different.

Was introduced to Blipfoto by MaggieB who has all the equipment and a van which doubles as a hide.

I will pootle along with my iphone 5 and hope not to bore anyone rigid...
