My photographic journey came to an unexpected pause in 2015 when I developed hip pain and was diagnosed with osteoarthritis. My lovely consultant at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary said 'its knackered and you need a new one'. I waited 9 months to have the operation and recovery and ongoing work commitments hampered me with regularly taking up the camera again.

BUT I have now retired in 2023 (yippee !) and have to sort out what I'm going to spend my time doing. So posting Blips again seemed a good way to start, although I can't promise to manage one every day !

I'm a member of Newark & District Photographic Society and enjoy chatting with other photographers and seeing what they've been up to.
