**Update June 2023**
In 2022, a team at Edinburgh Napier University created a podcast series centered on Lorna's war diary entries. The value of this work was recognised by the judges of the Janette Harley Award 2022, administered by the British Records Association. For details of the award ceremony at Lambeth Palace London in May 2023, please see the blog post at hazelhall.org.
The podcast series comprises 12 episodes: 8 on the Diary of the war, plus 4 bonus episodes of Lorna's poetry. The podcast series was launched at Great Malvern Priory on 24th May 2022.
To find out more about this project, please see the Blipfoto journal at LornaLPodcast. To access the podcast episodes, please visit the Lorna Lloyd web page on the Malvern Museum of Local History web site.
For more information on the background of the podcast work, please see hazelh's Blipfoto journal entry for 5th December 2021.

**About the LornaL journal**
On 1st September 1939, 25 year-old Lorna Lloyd started writing her 'Diary of the war' from her home in Malvern, Worcestershire, England. In her entry for 15th May 1940, Lorna said:
I shall bury this diary so deep that one day, in a saner world, someone may find it and know that the last legions of civilisation meant not domination but good, even though their hands were feeble and their foresight all too dim.
This blipfoto journal was set up on 31st August 2019 to post photographs of all Lorna's original diary entries on the same date at a distance of 80 years, with transcripts underneath as narrative. Where there was a gap between diary entries, the original intention was to post a single 'holding' photograph of an artefact related to Lorna.
However, thanks to a donation of material related to Lorna in November 2019, it was possible to blip every day in the gaps between the war diary entries from November 9th 2019 onwards.
Now complete, this blipfoto journal showcases the writing and artwork of a talented young English woman born in 1914 (including her chronicle of the first 16 months of World War II), alongside other artefacts and photographs that provide a window into middle class English life in the first half of the twentieth century.
This blipper behind this journal is hazelh. Lorna's blipfoto jourmal is hazelh's (once) secret recreational project.
Lorna's war diary is on public display at the Malvern Museum of Local History.
