Hmmm, let me see what there is to tell about myself. I am a mother, wife, teacher, friend, and a "wannabe" photographer. Or better yet, a playmate of photos. I don't think I'm disciplined enough to study photography but I enjoy "finding my eye". So thank you, Karen for showing me this neat new website and helping me find my eye!

I am a mother of three grown children that I truly adore even in the most trying moments. I've grown to appreciate that parenting is never an accomplished feat but rather a process of eternally growing and learning. Whoever said the learning curve ends when you are a grown up certainly must not have had kids. I am forever learning. Learning to let go, hold on, give more, take less, settle in, stir things up, stay strong, learn to bend. I am learning that time passes way too quickly and learning to appreciate small glimpses of moments past. I look at my children grown as still see them small and tall all in the same flash. This is beauty in itself and I absolutely cherish God's gifts of three.

I am a wife to a wonderful man. All I can truly say is that we were and still are always passionate. Passionate in good moments and not so good moments but the tug and pull of loving someone as much as I love him is living life well. He is the one who gave me a wonderful camera and allowed me take over the role of capturing family memories. I love what taking photos say about me. I love what I have discovered about myself.

That is really the most I have to say about myself. I'd like to think of myself as being simple and satisfied and happy. We'll see if that is who I really am. :)
