I had always been interested in photography but never had a decent camera which I could use to do it.

I was lucky enough to be given a digital SLR camera a couple of years ago when my Dad upgraded his, I got his old one and it is great.

Now I have a camera and I intend to learn how to use it properly!

I am new to blipfoto and will probably take a while to get my head around taking a photo every day to upload, I normally only get the camera out for holidays or special occasions...

A friend of mine told me about blipfoto and also about it having an Android app available. I can use my phone camera for everyday shots when I don't have the SLR out so I have no excuses!

I hope to learn as I go along how to compose and take better photos, any constructive criticism is always welcome...
