I escaped the 'rat race' in 2002 and now live in the beautiful Western Isles of Scotland, UK.
Yes, it's 'tricky' sometimes ... when sheep or cows won't budge from the middle of the road, when we have 4-seasons-in-1-day weather, when there's no food in the shops because the ferry couldn't sail ... BUT each of those things (and many more) add to the FUN™ of island life here.

I love the people, the wildlife, the wonderful Hebridean light and the huge skies here. I can't imagine ever going back to my previous life.

I'm new to blipfoto and am jumping straight in, hoping to complete this '365 Project' - taking one photo a day, every day, for a full year. As people comment on my blips I'm discovering more and more of their beautiful photos ~ people all over the world, in so many different circumstances. Thanks for all your comments & photos.
