My name is Morten. I'm was born in 1957 and works with IT.
I have taken photos since I got my first camera (Agfa Rapid) when I was around 8-10 years of age. My first system camera was a Mamya 1000DX that I used until it was totaly worn out. (On an airshow I took 12 x 36 images positive film in under four hours, everything manually.)
When I got kids the focus mainly changed to the family. And then I bought a video camera. With that, I also covered tours and concerts of the choir I was with for several years. There has been a lot of video editing and have had a lot of fun with that.
The photographic equipment has been upgraded over the years. But I also want go some steps back, to B/W film and the Leicas I have inherit from my father. I also inherit all the negatives and positives from his "career". I have started the overwhelming job to scan them all.
2013 was a good year when it came to photographing. I started with blipping and I got the opportunity to buy me some new toys. The future looks good!
Me and bliping:
1. I shoot everything but not kids, as long as I do not have parental permission or they're not recognizable.
2. I do as little as posible except cropping and adjusting the horizon. Very occasionally I adjust light and for every 100 blip I may use Photoshop. So it's mostly out of the box camera.
3. I prefer to documentation before artistry. (probably because I'm not good in Photoshoping).
I put some of the "surplus" on Flickr.
EXTRA from last years: My main place to distribute picture are now mstorstein at Instagram.
If you want to get in tuch, my photo related mail adress is mstorstein@yahoo.com (I don't read it every day).
