I've had access to cameras since I was about 8 years old. I'll just say it was the late 50s. My dad ran the photography counter at the local chemist shop (as well as dispensing duties), and I was brought up in a house that smelled of processing chemicals, as he was also in the local camera club.
I've several cameras, from DSLR to a compact waterproof, and of course, a phone, which has a reasonable camera. My favourite at the moment is a Lumix compact with a very decent zoom. It fits nicely in a handbag, and is handy for travelling. Latest addition is a Flir heat sensitive attachment for the phone. Initially this was for my occasional forays into paranormal investigations, but actually it will be more use as a tool for finding my elusive cat!!!
I've lived in North Northumberland since November 2010, after moving round quite a bit over my life.
