I am a teacher in a small rural school in Eastern Quebec, the Gaspe. Our motto is "High Above the Crowd", and every day we achieve this rather lofty goal. We - several students, another teacher and myself - often walk at noon hour, taking pictures and sharing a few laughs.
This site will become the focus of our sharing, as a couple of my students are already members, and it has spurred them to become better writers and photographers. It's another tool in their learn-chest, and they love it.
As for me, I have always had an interest in photography. It's a complete-brain activity, a challenge, and a source of personal creative satisfaction. It's part of the journey.
