New to photography.

Picked up my first DSLR in September 2014. Last looked at a real camera about 1990 and only had a few lessons at school in film and film processing.

Sold the bulk of my business in the summer and wanted something to do for a while to help me discover myself again and find out what I want to do with my life.

I have a degree in Fine Art, so colour, texture and composition come fairly easily. I'm still, and always will it seems, learning the technical side and all the other bits that come with time.

Try to do something ever day. Shots are presented without much ceremony. A lot of cliches in there, but learning some of it by following in the footsteps of others.

Hopefully there's enough there to get a sense of who I am and where this may go.

Encouragement, criticism, advice, all very welcome. I'm a 44yr old with a midlife crisis - indulge me and tell me what I should be doing next. What groups? What sites? What people? What locations?
