I joined blipfoto in Oct 2023 and twelve months on completed the 365 day project that I had set myself. The encouragement of other members made a real difference along the way, as did the opportunity to view so many interesting journals and the very wide range of images that get posted here. I'm not a fan of many forms of social media but Blipfoto feels a genuinely safe and supportive online community. It's a pleasure to be a part of it.

Going forward I am not planning to post every day as, at the moment, I would like focus more on developing my creative editing skills and possibly try combining images with short original poerms. In my experience neither of these tasks responds well to the demand to produce to a set schedule and often take a good deal of time. However, I hope I will be able to keep my journal ticking over with some general images and some of my more experimental creative efforts. Time will tell!
