Hi - I'm Paula

I am interested in music, walking, Apple Mac and photography.

My photography started in the mid 90s when I joined a walking group from where I used to work in Warwick.  I bought myself a 35 mm Praktica camera and it went from there.  

I love black and white and did a brief City and Guilds Black and White Photography course - in the 35 mm days - very enjoyable.

Now, in the digital age, I am finding myself not taking many black and white pictures - must do more.

Digitally, I started with a Sony Cybershot and then Nikon D70.  I have recently bought myself a Nikon D700 and am really loving the changes.

I joined this site as I have found myself not venturing out very much - my husband suggested it so that I could get more inspired by my surroundings - and it's worked!

Update:  A year done and enjoyed it immensely!  Don't blip so often now as I find I run out of time but I still post now and again and look and comment.  I love blip, it has helped me learn my camera and given me lots of great blip meets and memories X
