Hi and welcome. I'm a Canadian mom and grandmother, part time writer, full time office slave who is now rediscovering photography after a 30 year detour.

My inspiration is the tiny island in the St. Lawrence River on which I live, between the cities of Montreal and Laval Quebec. It's one circle of condo buildings with a walking path behind the buildings and through a forest. Geese and ducks breed here each spring and small critters abound.

My current camera is a digital point and shoot, purchased in a panic the day my granddaughter was born because that was the day my slightly better point and shoot chose to quit working.

I intend to purchase a DSLR very soon after which I'll have to think up another excuse for why my pictures suck.

Once in awhile I get something right by accident.. if it happens again I'll post it but meanwhile you'll have to suffer through my usual fuzzy shots, at least until I get my new camera.
