This is a new endeavor for me. I have always loved taking photos, just casually. Now I think this may bloom into quite the hobby for me. All it took was a compliment from someone far better then I at this (thank you, you know who you are). I am quite new, and still learning, and eager to learn more as I go. I have only 3 cameras, a Cannon Power Shot A550, my 2.0 mp camera on my HTC phone and an old (late 50's ?) 35mm SLR that is in dire need of repair. I reserve the SLR for B/W once it is repaired. So the quality, while sometimes questionable, is not the point here. I do plan to have fun with this, and that is what it is all about for me.
