I am a critical care nurse working in a large and busy general hospital. Ever since my teens I have had an interest in photography. My first 'serious' camera was a Minolta. And I can remember at the time there was talk of a newdeveloping phenomenom wherby you'd be able to take a picture and send it wirelessly to another computer. How fast things have moved since then.

I was introduced to blip by a friend and work colleague. It has provided me with the impetus to continually think about and develop my photography. And coupled with a close friend whose interests are all things to do with nature I have developed an interest in photographing birds. I am not a twitcher or bird expert by any means. But I do find them incredibly interesting and very beautiful.
