I was born in Paisley in 1964,
Studied Photography at the Glasgow College of Building and Printing.
I worked as a medical photographer, as a member of Glasgow Uni's photographic services dept & as a freelance photographer before starting work at The Glasgow School of Art about 19(!) years ago, strangely in the Department of Printed Textiles, now Fashion & Textiles, although in the early years there was a large photographic component to my work it is now largely computer & digitally based.
I'll be trying to use this journal as a way of re-introducing photography back into my day to day life, hence the title.
