Having completed three years back to back on Blipfoto, I did a disappearing trick for 2+ years, a short lived return, then another for 4.

There have been huge changes during my absence. It's back to my roots. I no longer live in Surrey; No more garden, no more sheep, I've swapped my view of the Surrey Hills with the River South Esk which runs by my flat in Ferryden, Montrose.

Still happily single, now a pensioner who won't give up working. Life is very different but It's good to be back in Scotland after so many years away, close to my family once more and far from traffic and pollution.
I had intended to move up in a year or two, however an accident forced a quick decision to come early. I sadly had to say goodbye to my beloved old dog, Meara, shortly before moving, but Cocoa Bean is still alive and kicking although, now 15 years old, his coat is greying, his hearing hit and miss, and his eyes are beginning to fail. A bit like his mistress!
It's time to wipe the dust from the camera and find all the lenses that have been hidden away.
