I'm Pete [most people call me Spike], living in Eastbourne, but hail from Somerset. Married to a very special person ...Tracey..We have three incredible sons, one age 35 and twins age 22.

I'm in my early 60's, have spent time in the Army, worked for 15 years in Post Office Counters then in my 40's trained as a Probation Officer. I've been working in a Youth Offending Team for approximately 10 years 

I like films, reading, music, bird watching and anything to do with the natural world. Also have a lifelong passion with cycling and walking. I completed the 'End to End' [Land's End to John O' Groats] in 2013

Photography has always been an interest..recent acquisition of a Canon 70d plus macro, telephoto and landscape lenses..

Blipping came about from seeing my auntie [meles] and her husband [DaveH] were blipping..Love the idea of a daily photo journal..
