I was a member of Blipfoto a long time ago - in many ways it feels like a different life. I started it in order to learn photography when I was on maternity leave with my eldest son, expecting to dabble for a few months. However, I soon discovered a passion for looking at the world in a different way, finding beauty in unexpected places, and capturing the shadows and lights of the world through street photography. I posted daily for a couple of years. Sadly though life events took over - 2 more lovely sons and a demanding career, and I just didn't seem able to make time for it. I've missed it and this is my attempt to steal a few moments each day from the maelstrom of urban, working parenthood.
