I'm a semi-retired Internet geek living with my wife and two dogs in a small town on the Scottish coast near Inverness.

I mainly take photos with various Sony E-mount cameras: a Sony NEX-6,  my wife's Sony A6000, a Sony A7 II, and a wide variety of lens, the vast majority of which are fairly elderly, mainly Minolta SR mount, with adaptors. You'll also see the odd photos taken with my phone or my old Panasonic TZ7 (mainly at sea as I don't mind losing it overboard).

I joined blipfoto with good intentions back in 2014 just in time to witness its sad decline. But by chance I rediscovered it in May 2018 and it seems to have survived the unpleasantness and being re-born as something better. So I'm back. 

Now let's see if I post more photos this time ...
