I have published now over 2100 blips since November 2012. My eager to blip every day is still my addiction, not so bad as it was in the beginning ;-).
Photographing has always been through the years with me more or less.
My intrest in photography has started in the 60's when my father bought me a Leica M3 camera. In those days everything was black and white with developing the film and working with the cemicals in dark room. In the time of colorful dia film I shot mainly flowers and plants, mostly the native 32 orchid species.
I am now retired and photographing continues with great eager. Nowadays I am at first interested in birds, different nature objects, street photography and landscapes.
I live in Kirkkonummi, Helsinki region. I stay with my wife (in blip her name is "Festina") over 8 months of the year in our countryside home in Nauvo, in the archipelago of Turku. Our small vacation house, in the nature, is located in South-West Finland. You can look at the view from our terrace in the blip 25 October 2019. In the winter time, during the dark period, we fly to Spain for some months.
I realize painfully clear that taking good photos is not at all easy, and my need for quality rises every day, perhaps I am aiming too high :-). That is one reason why I like it so much ;-).
Just now I have an interesting project for the Nauvo Local Society, called "Nauvo anno 2020", to shoot the many tiny villages on the small Nauvo island.
