I am a graphic designer who needed to learn photography for my work to design and layout various publications like brochures, tech manuals, newsletters, flyers and web site design to name a few. I do most of the printing in-house with a Xerox DocuColor 252. Most of the images I work on are of off-highway tanks, product shots of parts, around the shop, or (my favorite) of the people that work @ my company. I am still learning about photography especially now that I have a Nikon D40-x I would like to learn how to work so I can capture better photos with more though to content and composition. Outside of work I enjoy taking pictures of flowers, art or nature. My most enjoyable moments come from capturing images of people unaware in their everyday lives.
