I moved from West Dorset to West Cork, Ireland, nearly twenty three years ago now. I have been busy in that time bringing up my two daughters, building a home and doing the back to the land thing, on twenty beautiful acres on the Sheeps Head peninsula, overlooking Bantry Bay.
It feels like a new chapter now, the girls are more independent and these past few years have seen some little travel adventures, hopefully there will be more on the horizon. I love being out in nature and we have some beautiful walks on the peninsula. I love the sea and enjoy kayaking along the coast here. I have recently completed an archaeology course and like to explore the prehistoric landscape of island as well as castles, ringforts and holy wells!
Taking photos has always been part of my life and I am really enjoying recording the years in images and words.
